All Day Training – 7th June
This Saturday, students from LBTKD came together for another packed all-day training session, giving everyone the chance to push their performance and fine-tune their skills ahead of gradings and competitions.
The day kicked off with a focus on patterns, with students working through all of their grade-specific patterns under close guidance. Emphasis was placed on accuracy, stances, rhythm and precision — with instructors offering direct feedback to help improve technique and performance.
Next up was set sparring, including 3-step, 2-step and 1-step drills, allowing students to sharpen their timing, control and partner work across all stages. From newer students to senior grades, everyone had the chance to work at their level and develop solid habits.
Free sparring followed, encouraging adaptability, movement and smart reactions. Students worked through multiple rounds with different partners, applying their techniques in real-time and growing in both confidence and awareness.
The final section of the day focused on power breaking — challenging students to generate maximum force with clean, efficient technique. From hand techniques to kicking breaks, students were pushed to test themselves and finish strong.
A great effort all round and an excellent session for building progress and sharpening skills. Well done to everyone who took part! 👊
